Description
The Basilica of San Luca is one of the symbols of the city of Bologna, linked to the cult of the image of the Blessed Virgin kept inside. Located on Monte della Guardia, the Sanctuary is connected to the city by the longest portico in the world, 4 km uninterrupted and 666 arches!
The San Luca Express is the new tourist line connecting the historical centre of Bologna with the fascinating Basilica of San Luca, immersed in the splendour of the Bolognese hills. You will be able to travel comfortably along the entire stretch of portico that leads from the Arco Bonaccorsi to the top of the Mount, while listening to the exciting story thanks to the audio guides provided by the San Luca Express staff.
On board, a staff member will be at your disposal for any information. You can visit the Basilica of San Luca and decide your return to the city centre by looking at the timetables on the map provided. The meeting point with our staff will be in Piazza del Nettuno where, in addition to handing you your train tickets for San Luca, they will give you vouchers for tastings of typical Bolognese products, which you can have whenever you like.
