Description
A unique experience that will allow you to discover Palazzo d'Accursio, its Tower and the Municipal Art Collections. Entering through the courtyard of Palazzo d'Accursio and climbing the "horse staircase" to the second floor, you will first enter the Clock Tower. Here, using your smartphone, you can listen to the audio guide that will take you inside the rooms of the building, until you reach the beating heart of the tower: the mechanism that makes the clock work. You will hear anecdotes about how the palace and the tower have passed through the centuries up to the present day, and you will be treated to an unmissable view of the famous Piazza Maggiore. After the ascent and the visit to the Clock Tower, you can now visit the Municipal Art Collections, housed in the rooms that were once the residence of the Cardinal Legates.
Again, with the help of the audio guide, you can discover paintings, art objects, furniture, porcelain and textiles from the Middle Ages to the present day. And to finish well, you can enjoy a fantastic tasting of typical products.

- Access is not permitted for wheelchairs or strollers.
- Please inform us in advance of any allergies, intolerances, or dietary requirements
- Access to the rooftop terrace is via a narrow staircase and requires signing a liability waiver on site. Entry is not permitted for children under the age of 8, even if accompanied by an adult
- Animals of any size are not permitted
- Closed-toe shoes or sandals with a back strap are mandatory. Entry with flip-flops, high heels, or barefoot is not allowed
- The Municipal Art Collections are closed on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings, as well as on non-holiday Mondays. Tickets may still be used on the first available opening day
- If your phone does not have a jack connector, please remember to bring your own headphones
